Looking ahead, but with the aim of improving from Saturday's loss in the Wanda Metropolitano, Eduardo Berizzo appeared before the press before tomorrow's Champions League clash with NK Maribor. A change of mindset needed, but always looking for improvement: "Sevilla is a side used to competing in different competitions and does so naturally. Tomorrow's match should be a test, to attack on the wings, with speed, above all using the ball to find speed... We have to do them harm using the ball with the dynamism we lacked in Madrid."

For Berizzo the key is to play "with precision and giving dynamism to our possession to do them harm. The lesson is that all the posession we have has to give us chances, I'm referring to the first half on Saturday, and then you pay for your mistakes, as in the second half. Tomorrow will be an instense match with a lot of pace, what we need to learn or the notch to turn up is adding dynamism to our possession, more attack, finding more attackers than we did against Atlético."

"We have to do them harm using the ball with the dynamism we lacked in Madrid."

The boss did not hide that "We need to win at home, home games are very important, we have to perform strongly in them and we hope to do that tomorrow."

He also said that "It's easy to say in the build-up but we have to show it on the field. Tomorrow we're against tough opponents, who play with dangerous strikers. We have to attack them with insistence, making good choices."

Moving on to familiar names, he said Nolito has "completely recovered", while Kjaer "is recovered in theory" and his chances are still "in need of analysis for tomorrow's match". Moreover, he made it known Corchia could get his chance, because "he is a great option on the right for tomorrow's match. He could be an option to add to attack."

Finally, asked about N'Zonzi, who is playing practically every week, and his possible replacement - Geis - Berizzo said the German "arrived late, without game-time and he is now settled in. He's very close today. N'Zonzi needs to play more so his performances are at their best. Playing often doesn't affect him. There are players who get stronger with the repetition of games."
