ESCUDERO: “WE'VE USED OUR PRIDE AND COURAGE"

Sergio Escudero spoke about the change at half-time that allowed a stunning comeback against Liverpool: "We knew we couldn't continue like that, as we had been in the first-half, and we used all our pride and courage thanks to the fans who gave us that push. It all meant the team could react in that way". 

He saw such a dramatic turnaround that Escudero said: "if the match had lasted five minutes more... we had so much confidence, the team and the fans were on a high and we could have even got a fourth".

"Every match with these fans is impressive"

He only had praise for the fans: "Every match with these fans is impressive. They gave us the boost in energy we needed, it was a spectacular atmosphere, another one. You can't experience what we've experienced tonight in any other stadium".

Asked about the next Champions League fixtures - the last of the Group Stages - he said: "Playing like we did in the second-half we can beat anyone".
