An intense and impressive night of international football for Sevilla FC. Following Kjaer's win this Thursday, four other Sevillistas were in action with their respective sides on Friday night.

Argentina beat Italy in the Etihad stadium, with Ever Banega coming off the bench to score a decisive goal in the 75th minute. Mercado also featured, coming on in the 89th minute for Bustos - with Sampaoli clearly thinking about Tuesday's match with Spain on Tuesday.

There was also a dramatic clash between two Sevillistas. Wissam Ben Yedder's France faced Luis Muriel's Colombia in a game that saw minutes for both Sevilla strikers. Starting for his team, Luis Muriel scored the first of three Colombian goals which mounted an impressive comeback in the Stade de France after Giroud and Lemar opened the scoring for the home team. Muriel's goal would come just before half-time

Four Sevillistas had minutes last night though Layún would soon join them

Just 18 minutes from time, Wissam Ben Yedder would come on a substitute to make his international debut with Les Bleus. The Sevilla striker was visibly moved in a proud moment for France's number 24 for the evening.

Both Colombia and France play again on Tuesday. France will face World Cup hosts Russia in St Petersburg, while Colombia will play Australia in Craven Cottage of all places.
