This Easter Saturday football returns to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán with a blockbuster fixture that sees FC Barcelona travel to Nervión. VIncenzo Montella did not hide the difficulty of the fixture against the league leaders but assured the press his side would keep fighting for points, and said he wanted to give continuity to the team: "We'll play our own way, with our characteristics. We'd go crazy if we changed our way of playing". He also said "we'll try and have as much possession as possible because if they have it it could be more complicated".

He did admit one advantage was possible injury problems for Messi which saw the Argentinian rested against Spain: "We had hoped he'd be rested on Tuesday. He's a beautiful opponent to watch with some incredible qualities".

As for his own players, Montella will not have Sarabia at his disposal, having seen red against Leganés: "we'll look for another player with different qualities because we don't have one with the same ones. It's not something I'm worried about". On internationals: "Layún returns a bit later today, and some have come back more tired than others. They're all good though. Navas is doing well, Corchia a bit less".

Asked about the typical Easter celebrations in Seville, he said: “It was a wonderful experience. It is the first time I saw how people experience Easter here and I will probably go again today to feel the atmosphere”.

Finally, speaking about the rumours touting him as a potential coach for the Italian national side, Montella assured: “There is no chance for several reasons: first, because I am really comfortable here and my mind is set on Sevilla; second, because I haven’t had any contact with the Italian national side; and last, to be Italy manager you must be a white-haired man and I am still not. It is a dream but I am still too young for it”.
