Luis Muriel assisted Correa to make it 2-2 at Anfield, and had a chance to win the game in the last minutes. He talked over the chance: "I'm annoyed at myself for that moment. It would have given us the three points, which are going to be very difficult to win for every team here. When Pareja cleared it I started to run because I knew it would be a long ball and I'd find it futher up. I was put off by the pressure from the defender and I put it wide, but that's no excuse. I could have done better to get those three points."

A touch of humour to explain Correa's goal: "We talked it over in the changing-room. He controlled it well though I said to him he didn't mean to, but it gave us an important draw."

Liverpool showed their power up-front, but Muriel knew Sevilla could take advantage of their defensive frailties: "We knew that they struggled when we faced up to them or found spaces. We caused them trouble and when an opponent is stuggling you have to always take advantage."
