"Personally I'm very happy to help the team in any way possible. With one game to go we're fourth, so it's a very positive end to the season for Sevilla," said the goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Vicente Iborra spoke of his delight to have Champions League qualification secured.

"Now that it's all wrapped up, it's time to analyse. The most important thing is that we're going to achieve our objective that hasn't been achieved for a long time. We'll work hard to get through the play-off stage in the Champions League," Iborra said.

"We have to start from here and come back with more luck next season."

Sevilla president José Castro was in attendance and said that Jorge Sampaoli will be in the dug out for the final game of the season against Osasuna.
