Sevilla FC's new museum is on its way. In a 170 square metre expansion, the museum will now be 825, close to five times bigger than the previous space. "It was a project in the works. Sevilla FC needed to reorganize its history department", said Carlos Romero, head of Club History.

Romero emphasised that visitors "are going to see something they can't see in any other club - nothing less than our five UEFA cups together" but also - beyond the impressive silverware - will also find "a museum worthy of Sevilla FC, that will use the most advanced technology to retell history. A long-awaited museum...  We want it to be the most visited museum in Sevilla".

The new Sevilla FC museum will boast 4 rooms with state of the art technology with huge screens and projectors. Everything will be set out on a timeline and visitors will be able to access a database of players, coaches and Chairmen. There will also be a space dedicated to the reserves and the female side, an area for children, a walk through Sevilla's old stadiums and a series of photo expositions.

This ambitious project will become a reality at the beginning of 2018. "The deadline for completion is in discussion, obviously depending on matchdays. It will be either the end of January or beginning of February, but we are trying our best to make sure it's no later", said Cristina López, architect for Sevilla FC.
