We can finally start making predictions about the Champions League group-stage draw. Having beaten Istanbul Basaksehir in the play-off, Sevilla FC have guaranteed their place as one of the 32 teams in the tournament. In fact, even before achieving qualification, it was already known Sevilla would be in pot two of the four which will determine the Champions League groups this Thursday.

The first pot is usually made up with the winners of the seven best leagues in Europe as well as last year's winner. This season, with Real Madrid the winners of La Liga and the Champions League, the champions of the top eight league coefficients enter pot one: Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus, Benfica, Monaco, Spartak Moscow and Shaktar Donestsk.

The draw will be this Thusday at 18:00pm in Monaco

The other three pots are organised in UEFA coefficient order. Sevilla FC will be ranked amongst the best in pot two. With them, there will be seven other teams that cannot be drawn in the group stages: FC Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, Porto, Manchester City and Manchester United.

In pot three, everything depends on what happens in the remaining Champions League play-offs this Wednesday. With that being said, in pot three there are seven teams already confirmed. They are: Napoli, Olympiacos, Tottenham, FC Basel, Anderlecht, Roma and Besiktas. Liverpool will join the pot should they beat Hoffenheim - should they fail, Celtic. In pot four, only RB Leipzig,  Maribor and Feyenoord have guaranteed seedings.
