GEARING UP FOR A RETURN TO ACTION

The players took part in a morning training session on Wednesday at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios, the third of the week ahead of Sunday's away meeting with Real Sociedad in San Sebastián. With just three players still to report back after the international break, namely Youssef En-Nesyri and Argentinian duo Lucas Ocampos and Marcos Acuña, Diego Alonso had practically a full squad available to work with. 

The squad will be back out on the grass on Thursday morning, building up to the resumption of their league campaign on Sunday.
