KOUNDÉ, BONO AND TECATITO CORONA OUTLINED HOW THE WIN AGAINST LEVANTE WAS THE TEAM'S 'RESPONSE'

Koundé, Bono and Tecatito spoke after Thursday's win in Valencia, away to Levante. The French defender, Koundé, who ensured the victory, was the first to make comment: "It was very important to react after last week's loss. That's exactly what we did. It was difficult, we made a few mistakes but we knew how to hold out. There are times where we must be calmer, in the last twenty minutes we suffered without the ball against a dangerous side and gave away opportunities. We have to be happy with the three points and for the team's character, but also there is room for improvement. I'm very happy with my goal, for helping my team when it was needed and opening my account for the season." 

Yassine Bono, who coincidentally making his one-hundredth appearance for the club, also commented on the team's necessary response: "It was a very complicated match, we knew it, we understood it well from the start and at no time did the team stop fighting. In penalties there is always a luck factor, you have to be there and today it was the second one that didn't go in, but this match serves as a reminder that nothing is easy and even more so at the end of the season and that was the mentality of the group. It's clear that at the end of the season emotions start to come into play and we have to keep preparing ourselves as now we have to play teams that want European football and teams that want to avoid relegation... and we have to respond. For me, I'm happy to have reached 100 games with Sevilla from the excitement and the desire to enjoy myself, hopefully I can continue to grow, improve and help the team."

In closing, Tecatito, who was at the double, made his happiness clear as well as how his linkups with Lucas Ocampos who continues to pick up assists: "I was already feeling it but today I go away happy with the two goals and with the result that we wanted. I look at the eyes of Ocampos and I know what to do. We know it is going to be difficult and we turned the game around by responding well. There are several finals left which we have to win."
