Sevilla Atlético picked up a point in a heated derby match against Betis Deportivo at the Estadio Jesús Navas. Jesús Galván's side had the better of the chances but were unable to find the crucial breakthrough. After an even first half, big chances came the way of Ibra, Oso and Alexandro in the second, but they were unable to find the back of the net.
Controlling possession during the opening spell, Sevilla Atlético looked to catch the opponents out with balls in behind. As such, Andrés Castrín's pass set up Ibra Sow as he ran into the area, but his effort could only be deflected behind for a corner. Betis Deportivo had an opportunity through Mateo, but Castrín did well to get a block in and prevent any danger. Oso tried his luck with a free kick, but his powerful shot missed the target via a deflection on the wall. In the last play of the half, Alberto Flores made a great save to deny Marcos from close range and keep the scores level.
After the restart, Sevilla Atlético had a golden opportunity to break the deadlock. Flores' long goal kick caused uncertainty at the back and Ibra found himself one-on-one with Guillherme. Unfortunately, his effort lacked the required accuracy. Two minutes laters, Oso forced the keeper into a great save with another free kick. There were further chances, but Jesús Galván's side were unable to take them as the game ended goalless.
