On 20 and 21 September, Seville will play host to one of the most renowned forums in the football industry. The World Football Summit 2023 is an luxury event in which Sevilla FC will play a leading role as it has in previous years. In addition to being one of the most representative institutions of the host city, the club has been nominated for one of the awards for its commitment to technology and digitalisation. Specifically, the WFS has included Sevilla FC in the category for 'best digital transformation' initiative for the development and launch of the Transfer Tracker tool ('AiTracking').

In this category, Sevilla FC will compete with the Euroleague Basketball and the Professional Footballers' Association. The body has selected these nominees after considering dozens of clubs, federations and leagues that have recently undergone a digital transformation process and demonstrated how it generates new value. The process may be complete or ongoing, but it must have tangible results, as is the case of Sevilla FC.

AiTracking (branded as Transfer Tracker by LaLiga Tech) is an application that provides legal and technological consultancy services for football teams, which makes it possible to obtain unclaimed income, for example solidarity payments can be claimed for transfers related to players who have passed through the youth academy. The current regulations recognise that when a player is transferred, the club that trained him can claim up to 5% of the value of the operation. As such, Sevilla FC has earned over one million euros in claims in the last four seasons for players who have passed through its youth academy.

The World Football Summit will take place in Seville from 20 to 21 September.

The commitment to the development of technological tools based on large-scale data management has been evident at Sevilla FC in the form of several high-value applications. In addition to AiTracking, AiRadar, AiScouting and AiFootball, aimed at the discovery of early talent and the systematisation and optimisation of the design and construction cycle of Sevilla FC's first team squad. AiTicketing is also used to analyse attendance patterns at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and predict attendance at the following matches, have been underway for some time. Also under development is AiFans, for an indepth description of the Sevilla FC fan with the aim of attracting more fans to the club and offering them personalised content. Finally, AiSponsoring, aimed at monitoring the sponsorship market in the world of football, is also in the works.

Digitalisation is the major change that Sevilla FC is facing as part of its Strategic Plan and is closely associated with the commitment to technological development that has made the club a global benchmark. The digital transformation that Sevilla FC has set in motion continues its irreversible progress at lightning speed. Ultimately, it is a strategic commitment that optimises all areas of the club in search of improved results. Some of the various recent milestones include the season ticket campaign, launched entirely online to resounding success, and which saw spectacular growth in terms of social media - officially the fourth biggest club in Spain with 14.3 million followers - and in terms of registrations in the database.
