This Friday 25th of March The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán will host the first of the sports turf Sustainability conferences that Sevilla FC, along with Grupo Proin (official organic season ticket provider of Sevilla FC), will launch in order to highlight the club's environmental commitments, one of the essential pillars the club bases its business plan around.
The conference will be technical, where good water management and the treatment of recurring soil diseases in sports turf will be discussed, backed by the cooperation of national and international experts of this area. Within hours of announcing the event, tickets for in-person attendance had ran out. There now only remains online vacancies. Those who are interested should sign up through the following link.
As is well-known, the club has made it an objective in recent years to incorporate specialised measures in the maintenance of the pitches both at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios and at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, all of this is framed within the idea of using less irrigation water, circulating used water and channelling rainfall.
