Saúl Ñíguez, our fourth arrival of the summer, was officially unveiled on Wednesday afternoon. He began by saying, "I am very happy, very excited, and I wanted to thank the president, coach, and sporting director for the love and trust they have placed in me. It's essential to be where you are wanted. I feel as nervous as a teenager when I first made my debut. It's been a long time since I've felt something like this. It's a tremendous thrill."

"For me, the challenge is to enjoy my day-to-day; that's the key to bringing out my best version. With so much confidence, the challenge will be to enjoy competing, the atmosphere of the stadium and the fans," he continued

Saúl added, "I feel fantastic; I've had a couple of difficult years in many aspects, but with so much love and people around you, you make it your own. It's one of the things that made me choose to come here, even if it sounds repetitive. Sevilla are a big club, but we need to remember where we come from. We have to compete from there and give everyone what they want to see and feel on the pitch."

"We have a well-balanced team, with both younger and more experienced players, and that has to be positive for everyone, instilling excitement and hunger. Those values should help the young players develop and contribute significantly to the team, to become great players," he commented on the current squad. 

"It's a challenge to get Sevilla back to Europe and compete there, but we must keep in mind the difficult years we've had. That is of course the aim" he concluded
