In the end, a relatively comfortable victory. However, Sevilla FC did make hard work of the Thursday night match in the Europa League against Dudelange. The first half remained goalless throughout and it wasn't until the second half when Mudo Vázquez scored a brace, and Munir added another afterwards that eased the pressure. Now, Sevilla lead the group with nine points out of nine and are sitting pretty, with qualification for the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League firmly in their own hands.
In the first half, Sevilla FC weren't able to find the back of the new despite having a dozen chances, four of them on target. Escudero had the first one, Dabbur had one after and then Mudo had two himself. Once again, Escudero had another chance but he could only hit the bar after he followed up on a rebound. Despite being in their own half for pretty much the whole first half, Dudelange did threaten with the only chance they created in that half, with Sinani's shot just going past Bono's far post.
