Joan Jordán Moreno will become the third incoming transfer for Sevilla in the 19/20 window, joining Munas Dabbur and Diego Carlos on the incorporation list. The centre-midfielder arrived in Seville early this morning to pass a medical and sign a contract that will keep him with the Nervionenses until 2023. Born in Regencós 24 years ago, Jordán plays predominantly as a centre-midfielder, though he also has been deployed in a more attacking role.
After joining the ranks of RCD Espanyol's academy at 17 years of age, the Catalan midfielder kick-started his senior career in Espanyol's reserve side in the 12/13 and 13/14 seasons. In the 14/15 campaign, Jordán debuted in the Espanyol First Team - making appearances in LaLiga as well as the Copa del Rey.
One season later, he would become a permanent fixture in the First Team squad, playing nine LaLiga matches and making three Copa del Rey appearances under the instruction of Sergio and Galca. Following a loan move to Real Valladolid, Jordán would eventually transfer to SD Eibar, where he has played 75 matches since joining in the 17/18 season. Last season, Jordán played in 38 matches under José Luis Mendilibar, scoring 4 goals and making 4 assists.
