Sevilla FC know their opponent for the Copa del Rey semi finals which will be contested our two legs. The draw, which took place this afternoon, paired Julen Lopetegui's team with FC Barcelona. The first leg will take place in a week on Wednesday 10 or Thursday 11 February at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. The return leg will be played almost a month later at the Camp Nou on Wednesday 3 or Thursday 4 March. The teams will also meet in the league in this window, with Barcelona visiting Seville a week before the return leg.
This will be the sixteenth time the teams have faced each other in the Cup. This includes thirteen matches over two legs with Sevilla coming out on top on four occasions in 43/44, 45/46, 72/73 and 09/10 and two finals which went Barcelona's way. They were the last two finals Sevilla have played in the Cup, in 15/16 and 17/18.
