BERIZZO: "I'M GLAD WE TRAVEL TO LIVERPOOL THEN FINISH STRONGLY"

Eduardo Berizzo spoke to media officials this Friday, hours after finding out the fixture schedule for the Champions League Group Stages. The Argentine boss, was generally happy, though always with the upmost respect to opponents: "I think it's a group that gives us a chance and we will fight for first and second place whatever happens. But we are facing teams that are going to want exactly the same. Liverpool is an expert in this tournament, Spartak is a very tough opponent and we also have the surprise team of Maribor. We hope to help our chances against our opponents always with complete respect to their abilities, showing humility and taking it game by game".

Though the first match will possibly be the most demanding, Berizzo sees this as an advantage: "In the first match just as in the double meeting in the second and third. The fourth match is fine also, I like the schedule. Our style of play won't change home or away, so the order of the games won't alter too much. But I'm pleased we start against Liverpool and then finish strongly at home. We will have to be focused and measured throughout the whole schedule, because we will have a chance in every game".
