The success of BMW has always been based on long-term planning and responsible shareholding. The company has therefore established a policy of ecological and social sustainability throughout all departments, making the responsibility of managing their resources an integral pillar of their strategy. Sevilla FC lends their support to this ecological sustainability offered by BMW's hybrid cars.
Monchi spoke at the event and stated 'we are extremely proud to continue working with such an important business in the automotive industry. We are moving towards a more environmentally friendly future.' José María Lacha, BMW's General Director, thanked Sevilla FC 'for the five years we have worked together and betting on the move towards electric cars and increased sustainability.'
BMW's electric and hybrid cars make up 13.3% of all new registered models in Europe. The company hope that figure will increase to 25% by 2021, 33% in 2025, and 50% in 2030. By 2030, the business hope to have up to seven million hybrid cars on the road, two thirds of them being completely electric.
