AMANDA SAMPEDRO, ESTHER SULLASTRES AND EVA LLAMAS ANNOUNCED AS SEVILLA FEMENINO CAPTAINS FOR 2023/24

Amanda Sampedro, Esther Sullastres and Eva Llamas will make up the captaincy team within the Sevilla FC Femenino squad for the 2023/2024 season. Having all taken on the position at different points in pre-season, the trio embody the values of Sevilla FC and those imparted by coach Cristian Toro, including courage, responsibility and the ability to never surrender.

Sampedro, who wore the armband at points during her debut campaign for the club, has now been promoted to main captain, due to the leadership skills she has demonstrated in the dressing room. Her back-up is Sullastres, who held a similar role last season and continues to put her experience to use, commanding the defence while remaining humble on and off the pitch. The third-choice is Eva Llamas, the versatile midfielder who has settled rapidly into the team since arriving in Nervión last summer and ready for a bigger role in the team.
