COPA DEL REY FIRST LEG AGAINST CARTAGENA SET FOR TUESDAY THE 24TH AT 19:30PM

Sevilla FC now knows the date of their opening match in the Copa del Rey this season. Eduardo Berizzo's side will travel to face FC Cartagena in the Municipal Cartagenova on Tuesday the 24^th of October at 19:30pm. It will represent the opening game of the tournament alongside CD Numancia vs Málaga CF. 

The Sevilla first team last visited the ground in the 09/10 season, on the 27^th of October 2009. In the very same round of the competition, the stadium hosted Sevilla's 2-4 win (goals from Luis Fabiano, Navas and Capel) against Club Atlético Ciudad Lorquí, after the Murcian side used the ground to boost attendance in the away leg.
