Joaquín 'Tucu' Correa scored Sevilla's third goal against Deportivo La Corunña with a header 32 minutes, his seventh goal in his debut season at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
The winger, who had played as a centre forward against Barcelona, returned to the left wing on Saturday and was happy with the team's performance.
He said: "We needed to win and we played with a high intensity. We leave very happy with the three points. We had been doing good things but we had lost the intensity to our game.
"In the first half we had that intensity. The pitch helped a lot. They are three very important points."
