DELANEY AND DOLBERG CALLED UP FOR DENMARK'S NATIONS LEAGUE FIXTURES

Kasper Hjulmand, the coach of the Danish national team, has today named Thomas Delaney and Kasper Dolberg in his squad for the upcoming international fixtures.

For the Danes, they face their final two UEFA Nations League Group Stage matches. They are in League A, and will confirm their place in the semi-finals with a game to spare if they defeat Croatia on Thursday 22nd September. 

They do have a second bite at the cherry, however, and their fortunes will remain in their hands if they avoid defeat in Zagreb. They face France, who are surprisingly bottom of the group, at Parken in Copenhagen on Sunday 25th.

In November, the Danes are in FIFA World Cup action. They have been drawn into Group D and will again face France. Tunisia and Australia are the other opponents.
