The Champions League keeps advancing through the qualifying rounds toward the group stages. This Friday the Q3 pairings have been drawn both in the winners and non winners routes, which is the one in which Sevilla FC will take part in. This draw is relevant to Sevilla FC, because from these pairings, the clubs rivals will emerge for the Playoffs.
There are already two teams that, in any case, will be in that pot, these teams are Sporting Lisbon and Hoffenheim. Furthermore, the three remaining teams will come out of these pairings:
Steaua Bucarest-Viktoria Plzen
OGC Niza-Ajax Amsterdam
Dynamo Kiev-Young Boys
Club Brujas-Estambul Basaksehir
AEK Atenas-CSKA Moscú
Neither Ajax or Dynamo Kiev will be able to play against Sevilla FC due to their UEFA coefficient if they get through their tie. Regarding the rest, almost all of them would be possible rivals of Berizzo's team if they get through. The exceptions are Viktoria Plzen, who could only be a possible rival if both Ajax and Dynamo go through, and CSKA Moskow, who to be head of series - and avoid Sevilla FC - need both the Dutch and Ukrainians to loose their ties.
