FLORAL OFFERING AT THE STATUE OF ANTONIO PUERTA

Fourteen years have passed since the loss of Antonio Puerta. Fourteen years since the Sevilla family said farewell to the man who started the path to glory on Thursday 27th April 2006, with that left-footed drive.

In his memory, thus keeping the memory of the academy graduate intact, the squad performed their traditional floral offering at his statue. This was done on Wednesday, as the team are not in Seville today due to the match against Elche. President José Castro, Vice President José María del Nido Carrasco and Sporting Director Monchi were also present. 

The President and Jesús Navas, friend and teammate of Puerta, placed a bouquet of flowers at his statue at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios, the place where he took his first steps as a player before becoming a legend.
