FRIENDLY AGAINST ANGERS SCO ON WEDNESDAY 27TH JULY IN PORTUGAL

In addition to our already confirmed match against Sporting CP in Lisbon on Sunday, as part of the Troféu Cinco Violines, we can now confirm a second friendly during our pre-season training camp in Lagos, Portugal, which gets underway later today and will finish on 29th July. 

The last pre-season friendly to be confirmed is a tie against Ligue 1 outfit Angers SCO, who finished fourteenth in the league last season. The match will take place on Wednesday 27th July at the Municipal da Bela Vista in Lagoa, with kick-off scheduled for 19:30 local time (20:30 CEST).  

After the friendly against the French side, the team will travel to London on Friday 29th ahead of the Emirates Cup fixture against Arsenal on Saturday 30th at 12:30 local time (13:30 CEST), and a friendly away at Leicester City the following day, which will get underway at 18:00 local time (19:00 CEST). Pre-season preparations will then be brought to a close with the Antonio Puerta Trophy fixture at home to Cádiz CF on Saturday 6th August.
