Sevilla FC's centre-midfielder, Gudelj, was the centre of attention on last night's edition of 'A Balón Parado'. The Serbian analysed the current season since his arrival, and the objectives of the club. According to him: "I already knew a lot of things about Sevilla. When I was playing with AZ, Sevilla spoke to my dad and my agent a lot". Gudelj also confirmed that he already knew Monchi "not personally, but I knew him. I always said that one day, I'd love to play in Sevilla who are a big European club, in one of the best leagues in the world. The fans are also amongst the best in the world".
Speaking about his signing: "I knew that it wasn't going to be easy, but I was positive that it was going to be done. I was in contact with Monchi for pretty much everyday throughout the process. All of the credit as regards to my signing, I think, has to go to Monchi". Gudelj remembers that his dad was the first one to speak to him about the club: "He told me that Sevilla were interested - he is pretty much my agent. The real interest started when my agent told me formally. He told me that Monchi wanted to speak to me".
