INITIAL AGREEMENT FOR MONTELLA TO TAKE OVER AS SEVILLA MANAGER

The coach will travel to Milan tomorrow to finalise his departure from AC Milan and then to Seville before leading his first training session on Saturday

Sevilla FC and Italian manager Vincenzo Montella have reached an initial agreement for the former AC Milan boss to become Sevilla's First Team coach until June 2019.

The deal will be completed once Montella's lawyers have reached an agreement with AC Milan for the terms of departure of the coach from the Rossoneri. Montella will be present in the negotiation of these terms in Milan on Friday. Once his departure is finalised, Montella will travel to Seville on Friday night to sign his contract with the club. He will lead the team in training on Saturday morning before being formally presented.

Until Montella arrives, training will be led by club-coaches Luis Tevenet and Carlos Marchena. Details on Sevilla FC's new coaching team will be made public shortly.
