MARCOS ACUÑA TO HAVE HAMSTRING SCANNED ON WEDNESDAY

Marcos Acuña will undergo scans on Wednesday to assess the extent of the injury to his right hamstring that foeced him off during Monday's clash with Deportivo Alavés, according to the club's medical staff. Nianzou will also be subject to tests on Thursday for his left hamstring issue. If passed fit, the pair will rejoin the squad in coming days.

In other news, Marcao is stepping up his recovery, improving in strength training while undergoing various control tests. His aim is to be back training as normal after the international break.
