JESÚS NAVAS: "IT´S A SHAME TWO POINTS HAVE ALLUDED US"

Speaking to the press, Jesús Navas lamented having only gained a point in the first game of the La Liga season: “We´ve drawn, we had a lot of chances, but the ball didn´t want to go in. We dominated in the second half until the sending-off, we were in control, and it´s a shame two points have alluded us”. 

"Though I´ve only had a few training sessions I´m eager to play"

Despite the draw, the quality of the squad is there to be seen: “We´re training well, there are reassuring things, we have important players and we have confidence in everyone”. On an individual level, Jesús Navas sees himself as “stronger every day. Despite only a few  training sessions. I played eighty minutes the other day and the whole match on Saturday. And with a lot of energy and enthusiasm”.
