Jesús Navas will leave at the end of the current 23/24 season. Our captain announced the decision this morning to all the players and staff at the Ciudad Deportiva.  Navas, who recently reached 600 starts as a Sevilla player, played a total of 688 games for the club, with 500 appearances in the league, 47 in the Champions League, 65 in the UEFA Europa League, 67 in the Copa del Rey, 5 in the Spanish Supercup and 4 in the European Supercup, in which he scored 39 goals and made 119 assists.

Jesús Navas leaves the club as the most decorated player in the club's history with a total of eight trophies, four UEFA Europa Leagues, two Copa del Reys, one European Supercup and one Spanish Supercup. Navas is a Sevilla legend and played 17 seasons across two spells, only interrupted by his time at Manchester City between 2013 and 2017. He will move on 21 years on from his debut in November 2003 at Montjuic against RCD Espanyol, coming on as a substitute from Paco Gallardo with the shirt number 31.

He leaves as the club's record appearances maker

Navas holds a number of club records. He is the player with the most trophies, the most games, the most international appearances while at the club, the most titles with the Spanish national team, 51 international appearances and three trophies, the World Cup, the European Championships and the Nations League - the only players to win all three and the players with the longest international career.

The club would like to wish Jesús Navas the best as embarks on a new professional chapter, as well as thank him for his commitment, professionalism and honesty with which he has shown throughout his career and for which he is one of our all-time greatest symbols. There will be a chance to say goodbye to our captain on Sunday 26 May at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán for all season ticket holders and members at 20:00, with our game against Barcelona scheduled for Saturday 25 May currently. Should the date of the game change, the goodbye will be held on Saturday 25 May at 20:00.

The club will always open its door to Jesús Navas at any time in the future and Sevilla will continue to always be his home.
