This Friday, the Andalucían Football Federation debuted its program "Club Salud RFAF" (Andalucían Football Federation Health Club), a pioneering project in Spanish sport. The ceremony took place in the Alfonso XIII Hotel and was attended by the President of Andalucía, Susana Díaz, the chairmen of the Spanish FA and La Liga, Luis Larrea and Javier Tebas, as well as the Chairman Andalucían Football Federation, Eduardo Herrera. Chairman José Castro represented the club.
Led by doctor Antonio Escribano, a professor in sports nutrition and director of the Área de Salud de la RFAF, the Royal Andalucian Football Federation launches this important and innovative health programme to serve the 170,000 football federations of Andalucian football, whilst services will extend to Andalucian coaching centers. Club Salud RFAF was created with the principal objective of promoting healthy habits in both sport and life in general with the use of physical activity and sports in particular. In addition to this, the programme also looks to help in the detection and prevention of possible diseases in young sports players.
