José Castro faced the media during the presentation of Sébastien Corchia and reviewed several topical subjects about the club. Among them, the season ticket holders campaign, giving an update on the number of season ticket holders to renew so far: "The number has now passed 26,000 and we hope, with how quickly they have been selling and through the requests that we are receiving from all directions, that this season it will be a record number".

Naturally, the matter of the possible arrival of Jesús Navas was not overlooked: "Several quality players have already come and there are more, irrespective of a move for Navas, who are on their way. But he is a charismatic player, who came from here who had a lot of success here and at Manchester City. He's got a lot left in the tank and his arrival would be very exciting for all the Sevilla FC supporters, including the President".

He was also asked to comment on the latest statements made by the UD Las Palmas president: "We're going to do what we have to in the defence of our rights. It's a subject which I'm getting tired of and we are at a stage where we are establishing ourselves amongst the game's elite in the Champions League. That's what I want to focus our work on", he stated.

Football is back to involving astronomical amounts of money, but Castro knows that Sevilla FC has its own weapons: "Its difficult to compete with those kinds of budgets, because they will always have more economic options. But we have to act in the right way and so far we have bought in our first choices in every position. We hope we can sign the rest of our targets in this same way and we will have, within what is economically feasible, the best team that we can have"

To conclude, he was clear about Nzonzi's situation: "During these stages of pre-season you can't assume anything for certain and we have to be patient. As of today there are no offers, nor do we wont there to be any"
