Sevilla FC's President, José Castro, made use of the presentation of the Department of History's new book to send a message of support to the squad after Sunday's game: 'We suffered a painful defeat because we didn't see what we're used to, and although the team fought hard we weren't clinical enough.'
'It's true that we're only just getting started, we've put in a lot of effort into this squad and we need to have a bit of patience. We have to believe in the squad, that's why I want to defend my guys. Caparrós, Marchena, Gallardo, the entire Technical Team, and the manager who has a lot of desire to win and still needs to get used to his surroundings,' commented the President.
'When I went into the dressing room on Sunday to motivate the players I saw a group dying to get back to winning ways and forget this bad run,' José Castro finished.
