JUANLU STARTS AS SPAIN BEAT THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC AT PARÍS 2024

Juanlu Sánchez made his first appearance at the Olympics as Spain beat the Dominican Republic. The fullback played the full 90 minutes in Bordeaux as France booked their place in the quarter-finals. Santi Denia's side took the lead through Fermín Lópezm before the Dominican Republic equalised through Ángel Montes de Oca. Second-half goals from Baena and Miguel Gutiérrez then gave Spain a 3-1 win. 

Spain will look to make it three wins from three as they round off the group stage on Tuesday 30 July against Eqypt in Bordeaux.
