IN BLACK AND WHITE, WE WILL WEAR A MIXED KIT FOR THE CLASH AGAINST PSV

Without doubt this is a very special evening for Sevilla FC, who return to a stadium where, almost seventeen years ago, the golden age for the club in Europe began. Today, the team will not be able to wear a matching kit out of the three we have available. This is because PSV will be playing in their home kit which consists of white, red and black, which are the three main colours for our club too. Hence, there is nothing else we can do apart from mixing two of the kits, resulting in a combination which we have never worn before.

Sampaoli's side will wear a black shirt (from our third kit), with white shorts and black socks from our home kit. The most similar number we have worn was in the Round of 32 stage of the Copa del Rey in the 2015/16 season in Las Gaunas, against a Logroñés side that wore a similar kit to that of PSV. On that occasion, we wore white so we did not clash with their black.

With regard to our history in The Netherlands, this will be the third time we have played a competitive match there and the second time at the Philips Stadium. In 2006 we played in the final of the Europa League against Middlesbrough wearing our centenary commemorative kit, whilst eight years later in Rotterdam, we faced Feyenoord in our third kit.
