Kits for the Champions League game between Sevilla FC and VfL Wolfsburg
First team

They will be the tenth German side to play Sevilla FC in Nervión and the second to do so in green after Hannover 96

Germany is the country with the most number of teams to have travelled to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán to play in European matches. VfL Wolfsburg will be then tenth, will both them and Sevilla FC having their fate on the line in the biggest continental tournament. As is usual at home Julen Lopetegui's team will wear their traditional kit, all in white and black socks, while the team from Lower Saxony have chosen their second kit.

Interestingly, their home kit is also green but the away kit is in a shade a lot clearer than is normal and this time they will wear a darker green. They will become the second German team to play in Nervión in green after Hannover 96 in the 2011/12 season although with black shorts and white socks. Wolfsburg will also play with dark green shorts and green socks. In terms of the goalkeepers, Sevilla will be in yellow and the German in orange.

Looking back at the colour choices of visiting German sides to Sevilla in Europe, Kaiserslautern and Bayern Munich played in red; Alemannia Aachen and Borussia Dortmund (two visits) played in yellow; Schalke 04 and Freiburg in different shades of blue; Mainz 05 and Borussia Mönchengladbach (two visits) in black; while Stuttgart played in red in their Europa League match and black in the Champions League. As has already been noted both Hannover and now Wolfsburg will have worn green.
