The Dane had to come off injured in the match against Girona and will now look to recover for his return in 2019

There will be no more competitive football for Simon Kjaer this year. Sevilla FC's medical team have reported that the Danish centre-back, who had to go off injured on Sunday against Girona FC, has a muscular injury in his left hamstring. Hence, the defender will have to miss the last match of 2018 next Sunday at the Municipal de Butarque stadium against CD Leganés.

The player now awaits the recovery of his injury in order to return to the pitch in 2019.
