Jürguen Klopp spoke to both the English and Spanish press at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool FC's appearance at the stadium. The German manager did shy away from discussing the difficulty of Tuesday's clash: "Each point is important, we have to keep moving forward. We know how Sevilla play, but tomorrow's match is different. It will be a very interesting match. They're a great team and a huge opponent".
Klopp was asked if he hoped to finally win against the Sevilla side, following six failed attempts at trying to do so: It's the sixth time that I've come up against Sevilla. The plan is to bag a win for the first time tomorrow. I'm happy with the team's play, their performance is pleasing. The three points are important for us, and it's going to be a difficult match for both sides".
The manager later spoke about the Sánchez-Pizjuán's atmosphere: "I've already been to the grounds, the support of the fans always helps. You have to enjoy it and live it, but we're not here for a good time, we're here to get results. There will be an incredible atmosphere".
He also had a few words on Mohamed Salah: "He has exceeded all expectations. He consistently gives more and more. Each time he plays he becomes a more interesting player. He's a fantastic footballer. It's not just a spell of good luck, he is a brilliant player".
