The Dane has completely left his injury behind: "I haven't missed a single training session and I'm working hard"

Michael Krohn-Dehli is not a new summer signing, but he almost feels like one. The Dane has made selection difficult for Berizzo and was very pleased after the victory against Arsenal: "It was a tough tournament with very strong teams, and so with these two victories we're happy. Against Arsenal we started well and we knew that it would be difficult, but we played well and scored two goals".

The pre-season's purpose is to take strides towards the new season, but the players always know it's better to win: "We knew that we were going to suffer in these games but they have also suffered. We had chances to score more goals and we worked hard. This is the stage where you have to try out the style of the new coach and I think we are on the right track. We are more confident after this weekend and we have to keep working in this way".

To overcome opponents of this level is very positive, bearing in mind European football looms on the horizon: "That's the objective. We have to compete in friendlies in order to gain confidence, but we know how we want to play and that's a good thing". Speaking on a personal level, he shows all the excitement of a player who is just getting started: "I'm very happy. I haven't missed a single training session and I'm working hard to be better. We have to give everything because there are a lot of us and that's great for the team"
