Only a week after reaching one-hundred games in charge of Sevilla FC, Julen Lopetegui posted a new record this Sunday at the Reale Arena with the team beating Real Sociedad to further cement their place in the Champions League zone. With the two goals scored yesterday against Imanol Alguacil's side, Sevilla move up to 46 goals scored in the season. Added to the 54 scored in 2019/20, the team now stand on 100 league goals since Julen's arrival.
The 54 goals last season resulted in an average of 1.42 goals per match. The Blanquirrojos are slightly above that this season as their 46 goals after 31 matches sets an average of 1.48 per game. The 100 goals after 69 games averages out at 1.45 goals a game. In the same time, the team have conceded just 59 goals - 0.85 per match.
Looking at the list of the 100 goals, Youssef En-Nesyri sits at the top with 20 goals. Lucas Ocampos is close in second place with 18 and is followed by Luuk de Jong with ten. Just below him is Munir with nine goals. Franco Vázquez, Suso and Fernando have four while Banega, Nolito, Óliver Torres, Diego Carlos, Joan Jordán and Koundé have three each. Escudero, Rakitic, Papu Gómez and Reguilón sit on two while Bono, Acuña and Chicharito Hernández have one each.
