LOPETEGUI: "THE STRONG MENTALITY AND HEART OF THE TEAM TOOK US TO THE AIM"

Julen Lopetegui spoke to club media after the draw away from home against Atlético Madrid. The Sevilla coach, who sealed his third consecutive Champions League qualification with the result at the Wanda Metropolitano, maintained that firstly "the aim has been achieved after a great season, a difficult season in which the team has got its reward in a difficult moment. We achieved the aim before the final matchday. You have to appreciate these things because sometimes you run the risk of losing a bit of reality. I am very happy for the players and for the fans, who have had to put up with many things that have happened to us." 

To finish and in the same vein he highlighted that "the strong mentality and heart of the team have taken us to the aim. We always want to give everything and don't doubt that in will be like this in the final game."
