Two wins in two in pre-season for Sevilla FC, who ran out 5-2 winners against third tier side AD Ceuta in Montecastillo.
Tecatito scored a brace with a goal either side of half time, while Rafa Mir, Óscar and Papu Gómez were all on the scoresheet.
Both sides had chances before the deadlock was broken, with Delaney going close twice in the first minute before Aisar fired over for Ceuta. Lamela then saw a shot go narrowly wide, before Tecatito opened the scoring when he calmly finished from close range after Óscar won the ball off a defender in the area.
Two minutes later, Rafa Mir would double our lead, drilling it past the keeper after a quick succession of passes from Lamela and Pedro Ortiz. Ceuta would pull one back just before the break when Pablo was played in down the right hand side and converted into the far corner.
The two-goal would be restored a few minutes into the second half, placing the ball over the keeper after a pass from Rafa Mir. Óscar then added the fourth from close range after Lamela beat two players on the right-hand side.
Hoyos would score late on for the third-tier side, but Papu Gómez fired home powerfully just two minutes later to secure a 5-2 win.
The match brings our first training camp of the pre-season to a close. Tomorrow will see the team return to Sevilla for the UEFA-CONMEBOL Club Challenge against Independiente del Valle at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, with kick-off scheduled for 22:00 CEST.
