There were no surprises at the Dehesa de Navalcarbón, where we booked our place in the second round of the Copa del Rey. A one-goal lead, courtesy of an own goal gave us the advantage at half time and Iheanacho scored his first and then shortly after his second goal for the club to put us through.
In one of the biggest games in their history, the home side began by trying to keep possession although without creating too much danger. We began to work our way into the game although there wasn't a clinical edge in the final third in the opening part of the first half. In fact, it took until the first half-hour mark to see the first shot, a right-footed effort from Lagreca that sailed wide and well over the crossbar for the home side.

Ten minutes later, six minutes before half-time, we took the lead. Juanlu played the ball out wide to Idumbo, who broke down the right who looked to find Iheanacho bursting into the area. His cross was defelcted off was deflected off Luis Enrique and into his own net. In the second half, García Pimienta made his first substitution with Kike Salas coming on for Marcao as Las Rozas began to tire.
The second goal came on the hour mark as Iheanacho scored his first goal. However, shortly after Álvaro was forced into making two fine saves to keep his clean sheet. Isra Domínguez and Collado then came on for their official debuts. With ten minutes to go, Iheanacho completed his brace when he was alive in the box to a shot from Peque that had initally been blocked. Overall, it was job done on the night as well now look ahead to Real Sociedad on Sunday ahead of the international break.
