MONTELLA: "A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL SEVILLISTAS, TONIGHT WE'VE EXPERIENCED SOMETHING AMAZING"

Vincenzo Montella was overjoyed appearing before the press, just moments after his team secured passage to yet another Copa del Rey final: "I want to say a huge thank you to all Sevillistas because tonight we've experienced something amazing. Whilst the match is being played you cannot assume anything because in the semi-finals nothing is certain until the final whistle. All of the lads have done a great job, they played with amazing Sevillista spirit. It was obvious that there was a little tension, expected in a semi-final, and there are things we can improve upon - above all the quality in the team". 

El italiano mira aún más allá en cuanto a los duelos decisivos a disputar: "Quizás no sea una final sino dos, si el Barcelona se mete en la final y gana la Liga, porque jugaríamos la Supercopa. Pero ahora lo que tenemos que hacer es centrarnos en LaLiga. Pienso en el domingo y en recuperar la energía mental, porque ha sido un partido duro y físico y tenemos que estar listos para el domingo".

The Italian looked ahead to the upcoming matches: "It might not just be one final but two - if Barcelona get to the final and win La Liga we could secure a place in the Supercup. But right now we need to focus on La Liga. We need to concentrate on Sunday's match, on recovering mentally, because tonight's match has been a tough one and we need to be ready for Sunday". 

Already having secured a place in the final, the team can sit back and relax as the other semi-final match takes place: "We are the first finalists and tomorrow we'll find out who our opponents will be. Whoever it is, we will welcome them".
