Bono, Munir and Koundé have finished their road to Qatar 2022 with a good taste in the mouth after Morocco and France both comfortably qualified, meaning that there was nothing on the line on the final matchday with them both having topped their group. Morocco, who were the first to play, easily won against Guinea 3-0 with Yassine Bono starting and Munir not featuring in a team that was won all of their games. In total, they finished with 18 points, 20 goals for and only one against, as well as a gap of 12 points to second place.
At the same time, Jules Koundé played in France's 2-0 win against Finland away from home playing 57 minutes before being replaced by the Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman. France finished with five wins and three draws, leading to 18 points overall, six ahead of Ukraine, who finished second in Group D and will head into the playoffs.
