Luis Muriel started in the Wanda Metropolitano but couldn't help Sevilla escape their first loss of the season against Atlético Madrid: "I think we felt good in general. We imposed our game in the first half but in the second that goal hit us hard and it was difficult to find spaces. They always do a great job at the back, not only today and it was difficult to find the equaliser."
The Columbian had no doubt the circumstances surrounding the first goal impacted on the final result: "The first goal changed all of our plans. It changed our mentality and from then it was a lot harder to find gaps and create chances, though we we did have them and were able to cause danger. But with the goal, you expose yourself to counter-attacks and that's what happened with the second, which finished us off completely."
Now the only thing is to keep moving forward and to think ahead to Maribor: "We have to go out with our heads held high because we did a great job and we need to be motivated for what's to come. On Tuesday we have a big match that could put us in a great position in the group and it will be important to win. We're focused on giving everything on Tuesday."
