Guido Pizarro spent this afternoon his first hours as a Sevilla FC player and the first thing he did was describe himself, considering that he arrives from a league that is quite unknown by the Sevilla FC fans: "The Mexican league isn't very well known here, but in South America it has been very competitive in the past few years. I'm a centre defensive midfielder who likes to cover a lot of the pitch and I always try to help my teammates and have the ball so I can make the team play."
He also admitted that with his arrival to Spain he fulfils one of his biggest dreams: "One always aspires to play in Europe from a very young age, that's why I'm here. I've always worked for this and an opportunity to play in a very big club is what has presented itself to me. I'm going to do my very best."
Asked about his comparison with Nzonzi, he said he partially agreed: "Because of my physical characteristics it's true I am similar to him, because we're both skinny and tall, but I play in front of the centre backs and his position is a bit further up the pitch."
To conclude, he explained his relationship with who would be his new manager, who had been following him for a long time: "I've talked to Berizzo, just like I did when he was at Celta. That was when everything started and I'm very grateful for the faith he has deposited in me."
