Sevilla Atlético coach, Jesús Galván, assessed his side's victory over Racing Cartagena: "It was a team effort and a win that required a lot of belief. In the first half we struggled to get going but after the break we improved. We work on dead-ball situations for exactly this reason, they're very important in football. This win reinforces the hard work the team has put in and gives us a morale boost. We will attack the coming games in November and December reinvigorated."
"It's exactly what we wanted after the defeat last time out, which creates a difficult situation to manage. The team needed the three points to get back on track for the season. I'm pleased with the effort and commitment all the players showed, even those who didnt play were pushing for the win until the last minute. I just want to congratulate them all as they're putting together an amazing season," added the coach when asked about the significance of recording a sixth straight home win, all without conceding a single goal, at the Estadio Jesús Navas.
Galván was also grateful for the incredible home support: "The applause and drums the fans gave us in the first half honestly surprised me. Those who come to watch always give us their backing. We're encouraging as many people to come as possible. The commitment and attitude of the team will never let them down." Finally, the coach looked ahead to the coming assignment at San Roque de Lepe: "I'm expecting Sunday's game to be just as tough, if not more so. They're a side that go to war and will press us from the off."
