SUSO, BADÉ AND REKIK UNDERLINE THEIR "HAPPINESS" FROM WINNING AGAINST VALENCIA CF

Suso, Loïc Badé and Karim Rekik spoke to the media following the important away victory against Valencia CF. Regarding what happened on Sunday night in the Mestalla, the attacker from Cádiz who got on the scoresheet showed his happiness with the performance of the team to get in front and then hold on for victory: "The ball was nicely placed for me and I think that it was an important goal to give us breathing room. Today was a more direct match. It was an important game but I think that we did well, we competed and fought hard, and got the win in the end. We are coming out of a bad period and now everything is more simple and more organised. This result means that we can relax a bit more but we have to keep on winning matches and now we turn our attention to Thursday so that we can give our best."

The other goalscorer on the night, Badé, was very happy to score his debut goal for Sevilla FC: "Today I feel like a defender and a goalscorer. Keeping a clean and getting a goal makes me delighted. When I saw the ball go in the back of the net, I felt very happy. It was a tough match and the three points will be very important in the future. We are feeling confident for Thursday."

To close, Rekik, who played as a left-back today, also underlined the joy he feels at being victorious today: "It was a difficult match and it's important that we got the three points, and I'm happy to have played a part in this result. I needed to get back to full fitness, and I think that it went well for me. The victory gives us space to breathe, but we need to focus on each match as it comes and try to move up the table. There is a lot of pressure and we needed to win today against a side that was also desperate to be victorious. On Thursday we will give our all to get through to the next round but it will be tough, as is every game."
